We have two industry-leading processes that utilise end-of-life television panel glass (the screen) and fridge shelving glass. Both processes follow Quality Management Systems to ensure quality products which make ideal substitutes for quarried products such as sand.
These products mix perfectly for many concrete applications, such as block making and floor screed.
CRT Panel Glass (PGA6)
When CRT panel glass (the screen), is separated, cleaned and crushed, it is considered non-hazardous waste and can be used as a substitute aggregate in bound applications without additional environmental risk. The panel glass delivered into Environcom North West Ltd is processed and has achieved an end of waste status through self-certification, for use in concrete bound products.
• Available in 26t loads
Fridge Shelving is re-purposed by putting it through a crushing process to produce a clear clean glass/sand aggregate available 4mm and down and is an ideal component in internal floor screed.
Available from our Stourbridge site in 1 tonne bags or 26t loads.
If either of these products would suit your applications, we would be delighted to arrange a visit for you at our plant so you can examine the product/process first hand. For further information please contact Alison Mitchell at Environcom on 0798 353 4652 or email Alison.Mitchell@environcom.co.uk.
